The beginning of the employment process is crucial. This workshop will provide you with important information that will help you through the pre-hire and hire process so that you can start off on the right track with your new employees.
We will also review the key items you should include in your new hire paperwork, AND, we will provide you with sample forms as well as an invaluable “New Hire Checklist”.
Part 2 of 3
Date: May 16, 2019 @ 8:00 a.m.
Once the employee has been hired, a variety of other issues arise which must be dealt with by the prudent employer. This workshop will address the basic elements you must have in place to ensure a safe and productive workplace. Topics will include:
- Preventing Unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation
- Understanding company vs. employee privacy rights
- Meeting safety/health requirements
- Important keys to manage employee performance

Date: August 15, 2019 @ 8:00 a.m.
Employee discharges are never easy and are always dangerous. This program will show you how to handle basic documentation as well as the progressive discipline steps that should be employed prior to termination. We will also address a number of practical actions you should take to avoid wrongful termination liability or discrimination charges.

Certificate of Completion Awarded
A new California law requires every company with 5 or more employees to provide sexual harassment training to its supervisors and employees. This workshop will allow you to meet the two-hour training requirement for your supervisors.
All those in attendance will receive a certificate of completion.
