We know that running a business — and staying compliant — comes with lots of questions. That’s why we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common inquiries about EAC-OC membership, programs, and employer support services. Don’t see your question here? Reach out anytime and we’ll point you in the right direction.
EAC Membership connects you with a community of forward-thinking employers committed to staying informed, compliant, and connected. As a member of the Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC-OC), you’ll receive access to expert-led HR and employment law programs, discounted registration rates, networking opportunities with local professionals, and ongoing updates on California workplace regulations.
Your membership also supports our mission to educate and empower employers in partnership with the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC). Together, we help organizations build better workplaces through education, compliance, and collaboration.
Each EAC-OC membership covers your entire company — not just one individual. That means all managers and HR team members can take advantage of the benefits, including discounted registration for programs, access to expert-led trainings, and member-only resources designed to help you stay compliant and connected.
Membership runs January 1 through December 31 each year, ensuring a full calendar of professional development opportunities and exclusive member savings.
Any company can become a member of the Employer Advisory Council (EAC). While there are EAC chapters throughout California, any company in California is welcome to join the Orange County chapter and take advantage of our programs, resources, and statewide employer network.
Membership is open to businesses of all sizes and industries that value compliance, education, and connection within the California employer community.
The EAC Orange County chapter operates independently from other EAC chapters because we are led by business professionals and employment law attorneys who understand the real-world challenges employers face. Most of the other EAC chapters in California were run by EDD employees. As of October 3, 2025, the EDD is not longer supporting the EACs.
We’re also the most active chapter in California, offering a full calendar of programs, resources, and hands-on support. Our team is dedicated to helping employers — whether they’re members of the Orange County chapter or any other EAC chapter across the state.
EAC-OC offers tiered pricing based on membership status to ensure value for all participants.
$40 – for EAC-OC members
$55 – for EAC Regional members (members of other California chapters)
$70 – for non-members
Registration fees are per person, and member pricing is one of the many benefits of EAC-OC membership.
Not at this time. While our programs are designed to provide practical, up-to-date information from employment law attorneys and HR experts, EAC-OC programs are not currently pre-approved for HRCI or SHRM recertification credit. We continue to explore future opportunities for accreditation.
The EAC-OC works closely with some of California’s most respected employment law firms and HR professionals to bring our members timely, practical, and engaging programs. Our presenters include leading attorneys, consultants, and subject-matter experts who are recognized for their expertise and teaching ability. Each year, our speakers consistently earn high ratings in participant evaluations—reflecting the exceptional caliber, professionalism, and real-world relevance they bring to every program.
Each program is different. Some presenters — particularly attorneys who share proprietary materials or case examples — do not allow their sessions to be recorded. Others do permit recording, and when available, EAC-OC provides access to the replay link for registered attendees after the program.
If you’re unsure whether a specific session will be recorded, please check the event description or contact us at faith@eac-oc.com.
Cancellations with a full refund are available up until the Friday prior to the program. After that date, registrations are non-refundable; however, substitutions are always welcome if another member of your organization would like to attend in your place.
For assistance with cancellations or substitutions, please contact us at faith@eac-oc.com.
